Changing Animation Options

You may set the number of key-frames that you would like in your animation and the length of the animation by indicating how many key-frames are rendered per second.

Clicking Button-Animation-Properties.gif (942 bytes) on the Animation Toolbar displays the animation options.

In addition to setting the total number of Animation Keys and Keys Per Second, you can also move or scale the animation sequence for frames or operations. To Scale an animation sequence, click on the final key-frame in the animation and drag to the key-frame where you would like the sequence to end. To Move an animation sequence, click anywhere else in the animation and drag.

Symbol-Animation-Continuous.gif (833 bytes) indicates that this is a non-repeating animation.

Symbol-Animation-Repeat.gif (842 bytes) indicates that this is a repeating animation.

Symbol-Animation-Frame.gif (879 bytes) in this sample this is a non-repeating frame animation with four key-frames that spans 9 seconds starting at time 0.

Symbol-Animation-Twist.gif (843 bytes) in this sample this is a repeating Twist operation on a Cube object with three key-frames that spans 5 seconds starting at time 2.

Symbol-Animation-Path.gif (840 bytes) indicates a path start or sub-path start key-frame.
